About Us
Our Story
Smile with Me uganda was founded by a young couple living together in the urban areas of kampala with different life experiences.
One from the rural areas of Busoga sub region and the other from the urban areas of kampala. The couple could always discuss life experiences especcially in their journeys of attaining quality education. The indifferencies, injustices and resource inequalities realised forced them to stop the discussions and rather opt for various ways through which they can create an impact to the under resourced students and neglected ,underresourced and neglected schools in uganda.
To their suprise they just realised they had many quality used resources within the household that they were nolonger using and actually thinking of dispossing them off to the land fills. Its from this suprise that they got a second thinking of collecting all of them , give them a second life by fowarding them to those that lack such things and need them badly instead of throwing them away .
The couple made a survey about their neighours, friends and through all their networks, they got more supprised realising that all members had so many used quality resources that they were also nolonger using and actually some didnt know what to do with them otherthan letting them to the land fills.
They decided to create a team to run a campaign purposely sensitizing the public that if we can all look around ourselves we all have so many used quality resources that can be given a second life and do miracles to those that really need them badly.
Smile with Me uganda strives to senstize communities about diversity and inclussion practices that create lasting impacts to our own communities and everyone can have a chance of living a better life.

We envision in a more equitable world by shaping a way of empowering the under privileged and the under resourced communities to enable everyone reach their full potential.

To advocate for educational equity through empowering the under privileged and the under resourced communities with easy access to adequate quality educational resources.
